Because of its position, it is possible to enjoy aqua tourism, as well as an active vacation of water sports, hiking, cycling, skating and walks along a 14km long seafront promenade.

Lovran is a tourist town that has everything for a comfortable, carefree and active holiday: the market, the bank, post office, petrol station, borrowing library, 12 km long sea promenade, numerous cultural sights (Lovran originates from the 7th century), a mountain climbing trail, a nearby diving center, tennis, basketball, soccer field.

Entertainment

For lovers of good entertainment, there is carnival (Lovran has its own carnival, but near city of Rijeka is a place where the third largest carnival in the world is held) and multiple festivities all around the year.

Food and drinks

Lovers of good food and droplets Lovran offers a rich selection of fish dishes and autothone lamb, asparagus, chicory, marinade, wine and medica (honey brandy).

Nature

Because of its specific vegetation, Lovran is green in both summer and winter. The fragrant greenery and mild climate are the reason why Lovran has been known since 1880 as an nature spa.

Medicine

In recent times it is known as the best orthopedic spa in Croatia. Hip and knee operations can be performed in it, and physical therapy is a big part of it. It is also has 5 different dentist ordinations.

Culture

Lovers of culture will also find something for themselves in Lovran. Lovran has been found in 7th century. The old town core and its most famous churches date back to the 12th century. From that period are: the church of St. Jurja, Sv. Trojskvta, Sv. Ivana and the city tower.

Beaches

Lovran has two large beaches that are the bearers of the blue flag, and a multitude of small beaches and coves.
